This role will serve as the primary liaison between the business and technical teams, ensuring alignment across technical development, planning, and business areas. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between USDA stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business objectives into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration by facilitating strategic discussions between business units, data teams, and engineering groups to ensure alignment and shared understanding.
- Align product strategy with USDA mission goals, ensuring initiatives support long-term objectives, policy mandates, and performance metrics.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that inform product roadmaps and innovation strategies.
- Manage stakeholder engagement by setting clear expectations, providing regular updates, and ensuring transparency across all phases of the product lifecycle.
- Champion agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices to enhance product delivery, user satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor product performance using data-driven insights to iterate on features, improve usability, and maximize impact.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on loan processing or financial services.
- Strong understanding of loan origination, servicing, and compliance workflows.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, especially in technical and business domains.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
