Job Summary
Newberry Group seeks a Cybersecurity Assessments Lead with the ability to support an upcoming project within our DISA end-client. In this role, the Cybersecurity Assessments Lead will lead the planning, coordinating, scheduling, resourcing, tracking, documenting, executing, and analysis of audits and inspections.
Location
Chambersburg, PA, Ft. Meade, MD, Alexandria, VA, Washington, D.C. (location to be determined based on contract award)
Clearance Requirements
Active Top Secret with SCI eligible
Certification Requirements
DoD 8570 IAM/IAT Level III certification. This will change to a DoD 8140 equivalent once a DISA 8140 policy is released.
Primary Responsibilities
• Deliver large/complex projects on time and within budget.
• Lead planning, coordinating, scheduling, resourcing, tracking, documenting, executing, and analysis of audits and inspections.
• Apply compliance standards to large and complex IT environments.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls and standards to ensure compliance in accordance with the applicable audits and inspections.
• Expert level knowledge of vulnerabilities/weaknesses across complex IT environments and ability to understand applicability of security standards across technologies.
• Effective communication and ability to coordinate at a functional and senior Government level.
• Utilize data analysis and development of work products to enable Government risk-based decisions.
• Development and execution of knowledge management best practices and the automation of knowledge management frameworks to enhance processes and procedures related to the management of projects.
• Development and coordination of guidance and work products related to issues tracking management, plan of actions and milestones, and ensuring transparency of vulnerabilities within the organization.
Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (IT-related field preferred)
• Ten (10) or more years’ IT program/project management experience leading audits and inspections
• Five (5) or more years’ IT program management experience leading audits and inspections in DoD/Federal environment (preferred)
